PARIS: PSA Peugeot Citroen is in talks with GM on forming a “strategic partnership”, French Labour Minister Xavier Bertrand said yesterday.
Peugeot shares rose 8.48 per cent on the Paris exchange as news of the possible tie-up between the two industry giants spread.
The minister said the talks were good news, but his government was seeking assurances French jobs were safe. AFP
